Esmeralda collaborated with Yoko Ono on this unique site-specific performance of ‘Imagine Peace’, a video installation with 100 singers for London Bridge Cultural Strategy Launch 2018. Esmeralda created the artistic concept behind this piece: singers spread across the platforms, escalators, staircases and ground floor of the train station and synchronised with Yoko Ono’s ‘Imagine Peace’ video on the station’s screens.
For the first time in London’s history all screens in a train station showed contemporary art for 3 minutes. Esmeralda recruited the singers, rehearsed the choir and created the site specific choreography.
