Interview with Esmeralda about her grandmothers project

In 2014 Esmeralda Conde Ruiz traveled to Florida (United States) to be Ground Floor Farm’s first artist in residence. She has interviewed local grandmothers to experience the memory of female voices and translate those interviews into songs. The project has been a huge success and the grandmothers have urged her to carry on with the project globally. She is now interviewing grandmothers in the U.K. to complete material for a 60 minutes score for large scale female choir to be performed at concert halls and festivals.
