Swimming Along In Your Own Waste


Esmeralda has been commissioned by Internationales Kinderchorfestival Dresden to write an a cappella choral piece for a children’s choir on the topic of environment. Esmeralda has selected words by activist Greta Thunberg and is composing the piece ‘Swimming Along In Your Own Waste’, inspired by climate strike by students. The piece will involve single-use plastic and recycling on stage, at the end of the piece the audience will be asked to collect together the waste.


Performers: 200 singers from 6 different children choirs from all over the world
